Membership & Master Mentors
Master Mentors™ is a mastermind model that Sheri created in 2006, designed to bring like–minded and like–hearted people together in a ‘think tank’ environment:
- For each of us to share our own unique gifts, talents and resources
- Practice ‘noticing & acknowledging’ our progress in life and work
- And provide a collaborative model of support and accountability
Master Mentors™ is part of our Business Membership under the umbrella of Women For Women Canada & Companies. Members receive great exposure on our on–line directory, editorial space in our e–newsletter and an opportunity to participate in our Treasure Chest program supporting charity and community. In addition, we have negotiated significant savings and group buying power with Staples Advantage, participating SNAP Newspaper Franchises and Elite Email...and our list of benefits continue to grow!
In the spring of 2011, we opened our Business Membership and Master Mentors to men–owned businesses, with our first co–ed chapter launching officially in June of 2011.
We still host Women Only Networking Socials and Mastermind Groups, as well as Co–ed Business Events and Chapters.
Imagine…Your very own Board of Directors?! That’s what it’s like when you’re a part of a Master Mentors™ group!
Beyond the many benefits of our Business Membership, the best part is the opportunity to meet monthly with a great group of local business owners & entrepreneurs that you can get to know and trust…
- Ask for feedback and suggestions on an important business–related issues
- Share your experience, and offer your insights to other members
- Celebrate your progress and others, as you move forward in your business and reach new goals
Although everyone works from the same model, each chapter develops their own unique ‘collective’ personality and culture, based on the individual members in that group and where they’re at in business, etc.
Here’s what some of our members have to say (notice the wide range of industries they represent):
Sharon Alderson, Financial Divorce Specialist and Certified Financial Planner with Investors Group, says…“When you are in your own business it is important to keep energy and enthusiasm levels in high gear. Meeting with a group of like–minded women helps keep me focused and excited about my business. I believe associating with excellence helps us reach new heights. Together… we all win.”
Lorraine Gambacourt, Gold Executive with Xoçai The Healthy Chocolate, says, “Meeting with this dynamic group, is a opportunity to have a “safe” space to connect with like–minded women. We all have needs, goals, and issues… We share our wisdom and experience, and support and encourage each other with great ideas! We always leave feeling wonderful…it is like we “received” exactly what we needed to guide us in the right direction.”
Mary Lee Chisholm–Morgan, Bunka Embroidery Instructor and Artist, says, “Master Mentors… gives women the momentum to move their life forward with a positive outlook, regardless of what is going on in their lives… We bond as a group and develop our lives and our businesses with intention and integrity.”
Mai Peck,Mortgage Broker, AMP, says, “Trust, integrity, respect… a safe place to discuss what I want and need. Master Mentors… is where I get the support from ladies who connect at such a core level that it fills a need no other group does…”
